This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for Alliance for a Green Economy (AGREE). This privacy policy applies solely to information collected through Action Network.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

You may be asked to opt in to email or text updates from AGREE. This is optional, and you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of emails or texting “STOP” in response to our texts.
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to send you relevant emails and texts promoting events and action items targeted to your interests, location, and elected representatives. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may unsubscribe from AGREE’s emails at any time. You may also unsubscribe from SMS text alerts at any time by texting “STOP” to the short code. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
Data Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via Action Network, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data for donations), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Mobile Terms of Service
AGREE’s text alert program will text you actions you can take to help us win policies that will fight climate change, create good green jobs, and lower our energy bills! Our occasional texts may include alerts about upcoming events and rallies, quick and easy tools for calling and emailing your reps, and more.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time either on our Become a Member page or by texting the short code, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
